Privacy policy
At HallKeep, privacy is a design principle, not an afterthought. Our local-first architecture processes camera frames on-site, on an appliance under the operator's control. Camera footage does not need to leave the building. What the platform retains is the operational event record — camera, zone, time, status, and snapshots — kept locally for review and reporting.
HallKeep does not perform facial recognition. Our computer-vision models detect operational events — objects, obstructions, hazards, and configured behaviors — without identifying or tracking individuals. We process spatial and temporal patterns, not biometric data.
We support compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable data-protection frameworks. Sites deploying HallKeep retain full data-controller status; we act as a data processor under contractual obligations, processing only what is needed to deliver the service.
Data retention is minimal and configurable per site. Event records and snapshots are retained on the appliance on a rolling window and purged automatically; any aggregated reporting is retained only for the period set in your agreement. Sites may request complete deletion at any time.
